They feature a central shaft made of 316 stainless steel and a cast-in stainless steel drum insert for extra wear resistance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Three models are available: a single winch with a gear ratio of 8:1, a twin winch with a gear ratio of 16:1 and a twin winch with a gear ratio of 23:1. These are suitable as main winches for yachts up to 9.1 m (30 ft) and as halyard winches for larger vessels.
