Duralac green is the environmentally-friendly solution against galvanic corrosion. This chromate-free anti-corrosion paste prevents electrolysis between different metals, such as aluminium and stainless steel, and provides long-term protection of joints against rust and corrosion.
Ideal for water sports, construction and engineering applications where durability and reliability come together.
Duralac Green a powerful corrosion protection with consideration for people and the environment.
Belship represents Duralac in the Netherlands.

Tested and suitable according to recognised technical standards.
Broadly applicable
Not only between metals, but also where metal comes into contact with wood, plastic or rubber.
Ideal for marine and industrial applications
Perfect for water sports, shipbuilding, offshore, construction and engineering.
Long-lasting protection
Remains effective for a long time, even under severe weather and environmental conditions.
How does Duralac work?
Duralac green prevents galvanic corrosion (electrolysis) when two different metals come into contact, such as aluminium and stainless steel.
What happens normally?
When two different metals touch and moisture is added (e.g. rain or sea water), a small electrical voltage difference is created.
This causes the least noble metal (often aluminium) to corrode.
What does Duralac Green do?
Duralac Green works in three ways:
Insulating barrier It forms a protective layer between the metals, preventing direct electrical contact.
Damp-proof It seals the compound against water and salts, which cause electrolysis.
Corrosion inhibiting effect Its composition neutralises and slows down the corrosion process for a long time.
Application
Apply a thin layer to the contact surface before mounting bolts, screws or plates. Excess product can be easily removed after mounting.
