TEAK WONDER® DRESSING & SEALER

New teak ages quickly if not cleaned daily with fresh water or if no suitable protective product is applied.

Most protection products for teak on the market are oil-based stains with several drawbacks: they darken teak unnaturally, attract dust and dirt, and in hot weather, the oil can come to the surface making the deck slippery and greasy. In addition, they can stain clothing.

TEAK WONDER® DRESSING & SEALER is a safe, durable and non-oily product that gives teak a pleasant golden colour without darkening it or creating an artificial appearance.

The special ingredients in TEAK WONDER® DRESSING & SEALER seal the wood, reducing the penetration of dust and dirt. At the same time, they protect the natural teak oils from ultraviolet radiation, delaying oxidation and discolouration.
The seal also helps reduce the penetration of liquids such as fuel, oil, fish blood, paint, etc. As long as these do not dry up, they can be removed much more easily.

TEAK WONDER® DRESSING & SEALER does not make teak shiny or slippery, does not darken the wood unnaturally and does not leave build-up on the surface. The product dries quickly and is odourless.

For new teak, it is recommended to apply two coats (with full, even brush strokes).
If the teak is old or dirty, it should first be treated with TEAK WONDER® CLEANER and TEAK WONDER® BRIGHTENER. Allow the wood to dry completely before sealing.
After 8-12 weeks, a new coat can be applied without repeating the cleaning process.

The product should be stirred thoroughly before use.

Remove any spillages or stains on non-teak surfaces immediately.

Consumption: approx. 5-6 m² per litre.

User manual

1. Stir the contents well before and during application.

2. If necessary, the teak should first be cleaned with TEAK WONDER® CLEANER and TEAK WONDER® BRIGHTENER. Make sure the wood is completely dry before TEAK WONDER® DRESSING & SEALER is applied.

3. Apply with a brush and leave to dry for at least one hour.

4. Remove any contact with painted or metal surfaces immediately with a dry cloth to avoid staining.

5. Two coats are recommended for the first treatment. Then reapply every 8-12 weeks or when sun and sea wear become apparent.
