Air-conditioning self-contained unit
CA-series self-contained A/C units with BLDC inverter technology offer an efficient and flexible solution for independent on-board air conditioning systems. Awarded the BMEA Product of the Year Award 2019, this latest generation of units combines innovative technology with maximum comfort.
The units are available in capacities from 7,000 to 24,000 BTU/h and operate on 115V or 230V, depending on the model. The latest AC version makes them even more efficient, with improved performance due to an optimised evaporator and a larger seawater heat exchanger.
With up to 50% higher energy efficiency compared to traditional ON/OFF systems and very low power consumption (only 155-200W in ECO mode), these units offer powerful performance with minimal load. BLDC inverter technology also ensures quiet operation, stable temperature and complete suppression of peak currents at start-up.
The compact and lightweight design makes installation easy on almost any type of boat. Additional flexibility is provided by a 135° adjustable air outlet and a detachable electrical panel, allowing optimal use of the available installation space.
The units are controlled via a modern touchscreen thermostat, which allows easy manual or automatic control of temperature, operating modes (such as cooling, heating, ventilation and night mode) and fan speeds. In addition, support is possible for standard cover plates.
To extend functionality further, various accessories are available, such as a UV air steriliser and - soon - a WiFi module with smartphone control.

Single-phase cooling units with BLDC inverter technology
HE-series Self Contained Units with BLDC inverter technology have been specially developed for DC-powered independent air conditioning systems. With the introduction of the new 12-volt versions, these units offer even more flexibility for a variety of on-board applications.
The HE series has been further optimised with up to 15% higher efficiency, an enlarged seawater heat exchanger and an improved evaporator. The units are available in capacities from 7,000 to 16,000 BTU/h and operate on 12V, 24V or 48V, depending on the model.
Thanks to advanced BLDC inverter technology, these units deliver up to 50% more energy efficiency compared to traditional ON/OFF systems. Energy consumption remains extremely low, with only 155-200W in ECO mode, while peak current at start-up is virtually eliminated (maximum 2 A). This allows direct connection to the DC system.
Its compact and lightweight design makes installation easy on almost any type of boat. Additional flexibility is provided by an air outlet that is adjustable by 135° and a detachable electrical panel, allowing optimal use of the available installation space.
For maximum convenience, the units are equipped with a modern touchscreen thermostat. This allows easy setting of temperature and operating modes - such as cooling, heating, ventilation and night mode. Fan speeds can be controlled manually or automatically, and thanks to two temperature sensors, a stable indoor climate is guaranteed.
Various accessories are also available, such as a UV air steriliser and a WiFi module (available soon) for control via smartphone.

Three-phase cooling unit with inverter BLDC motor
Available in 130,000 and 180,000 BTU/h versions, our latest chiller units use advanced BLDC inverter technology, specially developed for on-board central air conditioning systems. Thanks to the three-phase power supply, these units deliver high performance with significantly lower energy consumption, both in ECO mode and at full power.
The updated CU series offers significant improvements, including higher efficiency, weight reduction and lower fuel consumption. The new titanium seawater heat exchanger also provides extra durability and improved performance in marine environments. With up to 50% higher energy efficiency compared to traditional ON/OFF systems, these units are ideal for yachts and megayachts.
With a cooling capacity of up to 180,000 BTU/h, these systems are suitable for vessels over 60 metres. The modular design makes onboard installation easy and ensures that maintenance can be carried out quickly and efficiently by the crew - a big advantage during refits and renovations.
Thanks to their compact and lightweight design, the units can be widely used on different types of boats. At the same time, they guarantee maximum onboard comfort through quiet operation and stable temperature control.
The chiller system is a widely chosen solution for marine air conditioning and offers several advantages, including an easy-to-install, closed and factory-tested cooling circuit, reduced refrigerant charge and user-friendly maintenance.

The redesigned CU series offers significant advantages, such as lower weight, improved efficiency and lower fuel consumption - both in ECO mode and at full power. The use of a titanium seawater heat exchanger also makes the units more durable and resistant to marine conditions.
With energy efficiency up to 50% higher than traditional ON/OFF systems and low power consumption of only 850W in ECO mode (CU50), these units are a powerful and economical solution. In addition, peak current at start-up is completely eliminated.
The modular design ensures that installation is easy and maintenance can be carried out quickly by the crew. This makes the units particularly suitable for new builds as well as refits and renovations.
Thanks to their compact and lightweight design, the systems can be easily installed on almost any type of boat, without compromising on performance or comfort.





Koelunits AAN/UIT
Our ON/OFF cooling units are a reliable solution for onboard central air conditioning systems and are available with both single-phase and three-phase power supplies. The units are available in different models, with cooling capacities ranging from 18,000 to as much as 160,000 BTU/h, making them suitable for a variety of applications - from smaller installations to mega yachts of more than 60 metres.
The compact and modular design makes installation easy and flexible, while maintenance can be carried out quickly and efficiently by the crew. This makes these systems particularly suitable for new construction projects as well as refits and renovations of existing installations.
Performance is up to 50% higher compared to traditional R407C refrigerant systems, resulting in more efficient operation and lower energy consumption. At the same time, sound insulating panels and thermal insulation of the cooled components ensure quiet operation, increased on-board comfort and prevention of condensation.
The 410 series cooling units (heat pumps) combine reliability, flexibility and ease of use with significant energy savings. Thanks to their extremely compact design, these units can be widely used and easily integrated into various applications.
In short, these modular cooling solutions offer an ideal balance between performance, comfort and ease of installation, resulting in quiet and efficient operation.


Fan convectors AH
AH series fan coil units are advanced air handling units that provide efficient on-board cooling as well as heating. These units are available in different models, with capacities ranging from 5,000 to 28,000 BTU/h, and are equipped with one or two fans depending on the version.
Each unit consists of a compact metal casing containing a heat exchanger, energy-efficient fans, an air filter and a condensate collection tray. Through hydraulic pipes, they are connected to the central cooling system, supplying cooled or heated water for an optimal indoor climate.
The AH series is distinguished by the use of highly efficient rotary EC fans, which ensure quiet operation and low energy consumption. In addition, the units feature a self-extinguishing plastic container (category E0), four possible discharge positions for maximum flexibility and an integrated air sterilisation system with UVA/UVC technology.
Optionally, the units can be equipped with an electrical resistor for additional heating capacity. Thanks to their compact design and versatility, AH units are a reliable and efficient solution for onboard air conditioning.

Air handling unit
The purpose of the external air pre-treatment system (AHU) is to supply variable quantities of air to the internal spaces on board with insufficient natural ventilation, so that (in synergy with the exhaust system) the air is completely refreshed the prescribed number of times per hour, in accordance with the technical specifications.

Customised cold stores
Frigomar designs and builds fully customised refrigeration units tailored to the specific requirements on board. An example is a complete installation for a mega yacht, with an 11 m³ cold store and an 8 m³ freezer compartment, suitable for temperatures from +1°C to -20°C.
The unit is equipped with two hermetic compressors and four evaporators with programmed defrosting, ensuring reliable performance and preventing ice formation. Its 400-440V / 3-phase / 50-60Hz power supply makes it perfect for intensive marine use.
Customised mobile cold stores
Frigomar's relocatable refrigeration units offer maximum flexibility without compromising on performance. These tailor-made, demountable refrigeration units are fully tailored to the space available and use on board.

Made-to-measure wine coolers
Our custom-made wine coolers are specially developed for true wine lovers who demand optimal storage and serving conditions. These wine coolers can be equipped with multiple temperature zones, allowing different types of wine - from champagne to Bordeaux - to be stored under ideal conditions. The shelves can accommodate various bottle sizes and can be made of stainless steel or wood, often also removable for extra flexibility. Depending on the desired style, flat or hinged doors are possible, including self-locking handles and a fully customised finish.
Every bottle requires careful handling. That is why our wine coolers are designed to ensure the quality and taste experience of the contents, as if the wine were stored and served under perfect conditions ashore.
In addition to functionality, design plays an important role. Every wine cooler we develop is custom-made and unique in its design.
