Spars
OPTIPARTS has been the world's leading Optimist boom and mast maker since 1990.
The Optimist BLACKGOLD rig is one of the most advanced Optimist rigs in the world. For many years, it has been chosen as the official charter rig for the I.O.D.A. World, European, American, Asian and Oceanian Championships. Several outstanding results have been achieved in recent years. In addition to Optimist racing spars, we supply a full range of club and sailing school spars.
Fittings
OPTIPARTS is the leading manufacturer of everything you need to properly equip an Optimist. OPTIPARTS supplies a full range of high-quality stainless steel and plastic fittings.
Sails
All OPTIPARTS Optimist sails are made to the highest quality without compromising on materials. The teaching sails are very well finished and long-lasting. The Optimist competition sails are available in 3 shapes and made of the best Optimist sailcloth available.
Foils
The complete OPTIPARTS range of foils includes wooden, polyester and epoxy One Design Optimist daggerboards and rudders. The OPTIPARTS IOD Optimist racing foils are made according to the latest class rules and have been used at many World and Continental IODA Championships.
Blocks
OPTIPARTS has all the blocks you need for the Optimist. From Harken ratchet blocks and hook-in blocks to own-brand ball and slide bearing blocks for Optimist shots and Optimist halyards. Combine different sizes of blocks to create your best personal set-up.
Trolleys
The OPTIPARTS Optimist trolley is designed to be the most functional available. Spring locking (and quick release) of all parts ensures that the unit can be disassembled for storage and transport in seconds.
The frame has welded joints and is anodised to prevent corrosion.
Buoyancy Bags
OPTIPARTS floatation bags are made of heavy duty polyurethane-coated nylon. Special treatment against colour fading and hydrolysis has been applied to ensure a long service life. The OPTIPARTS buoyancy bags for Optimist sails are about half the weight and considerably stronger than bags made of PVC and PVC-coated nylon. Optimist buoyancy bags are available with twist lock tube valves and normal PVC check valves.
Rigging
OPTIPARTS supplies a wide range of Optimist trim lines and shots. From Vectran and Dyneema mini lines to ready-made mainsheet and splice accessories. We recommend checking your lines carefully and regularly; Optimist trim lines and sheets can be used intensively.
