5.5 MM TOWLINE YELLOW P/M

This fluorescent yellow painter's line is a versatile line suitable for a wide range of dinghies, not just the Optimist. The line has a diameter of 5.5 mm and a polypropylene core. Polypropylene ensures the line floats and prevents it from sinking under the boat or getting into the coach boat's engine, which is an important safety and operational aspect. The biggest advantage of the fluorescent yellow colour is its superior visibility (also known as high-vis), which makes the line much more visible against the surface of the water and is an important factor for safety and ease of use.

  • Core: double-braided polypropylene
  • Upholstery: UV-treated polypropylene
• Diameter: 5.5 mm. This size is robust enough to withstand the stress of towing or tethering a small dinghy, but thin enough to easily roll up and stow out of the way on boats in classes such as the Laser/ILCA, 420 and Optimist.
• Colour: fluorescent yellow (also available in blue).
