Description

Rubber flange for on the top of the winch. Transforms a standard winch into a self-tailing winch.

A specially designed rubber sleeve that fits over the top of standard winches, making them self-locking.

This simple mechanism works when the line is under tension, causing the coils to climb up the winch drum and then be gripped by the underside of the winch’s rubber casing.

Size S:  suitable for the following Winches: LEWMAR 7, 7ct, 8, 12ct,16, Antal W8, Barton 21200, 21201, 21202, Harken B8, B16.2

Size M suitable for the following Winches: LEWMAR 30, 40 Antal W9, W16, W30, Harken B32.2, 40.2

The line is secured by locking the lanyard into the ribbed central groove of the winch.

Barton Wincher – 21641, 21642, 21643, 21644

The Barton Wincher is a specially designed rubber sleeve that allows you to convert your standard winch into a self-locking winch. This tried-and-tested design has been a favourite amongst sailors for years.

The winch works by gripping the rope when the drum is fully wound and under tension. As the winch is operated, the rope unrolls from the bottom of the winch, creating a self-winding motion. The rope is secured by locking the sheet into the ribbed central groove of the winch.

Available in 4 sizes for winch drum diameters ranging from 64 mm to 100 mm
(2 ½” to 4”).
