The perfect choice for the Optimist. The BLACKLITE spar set includes:

BLACKLITE Optimist mast (EX902)
BLACKGOLD 40 mm Optimist boom 45 mm (EX940)
BLACKLITE 26.6 mm Optimist sprit (EX959)
Supplied with rigging package.
Because of the specifications, there is no equal to the Optiparts BLACKGOLD™ spar sets. Two 45 micron black hard anodised 7075 masts, a choice of three black anodised booms and three black anodised 7075 sprits. All black fittings, hard anodised cleats, a black sprit abrasion guard, secured eye straps on the boom, a dogfish trap. Zero stretch, zero creep, black, Vectran line pack, Harken ball-bearing halyard blocks and pure Dyneema split halyards.

We offer a choice of three booms:

40 mm BLACKGOLD™ MEDIUM Optimist boom (EX940). A stiff and lightweight Optimist boom suitable for most sailors.
45 mm BLACKGOLD™ POWER Optimist boom (EX945). A stiffer Optimist boom to keep more tension on the leech for the heavier sailor. The smaller bridle gives more room when tacking.
55 mm BLACKMAX™ Optimist boom (EX955). This ultra-rigid yet lightweight Optimist boom can be used without a bridle. This allows the larger sailor to land further forward when tacking.
All Optimist booms are made of high-quality, hardened tubing. Equipped with secured eye straps, black nylon inboard and outboard pieces, nylon pull-out cleat, pull-out trim gauge, 4 mm Vectran pull-out and a Dyneema bridle and catch.

The Optiparts 26.6 mm Blacklite sprit compared with the Blackgold 27 mm Optimist sprit:
