Description

The Pontoon Link is an adapter piece that you mount on an inflatable boat (dinghy) with flat or curved pontoon ends, making that boat compatible with the Dinghy Rings lifting/ suspension system.

Included: Two pontoon couplers. Supplies and tools: Acetone or PVC primer (e.g. Polymarine 2903), PVC-2-component adhesive (e.g. Polymarine 3026), Hypalon-2-component adhesive (only if the boat is made of Hypalon), brush, pen, cloth, soft-edged scraper. Important: Check whether your dinghy is made of PVC or Hypalon. Before you start gluing, your workplace should be well ventilated, warm and dry, between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius. In humid air, the glue cannot be used. Do not use an open flame, as solvents are highly flammable. Do not use adhesive that has been left to mix for more than 4 hours. Do not use sandpaper on PVC material. If you have a Hypalon boat, the contact surfaces of the floats should be lightly sanded with sandpaper and primed with 2-component Hypalon glue. Then apply a thin layer of Hypalon glue as a primer and let it dry. Then apply PVC glue.
