Description

The environmentally friendly electronic level switch is the latest innovation as it works with an electronic sensor, instead of air pressure or moving parts. It is designed to detect the water level with great precision and accuracy, giving you the best possible results. One of the main advantages of the E.E.L.S is that it is environmentally friendly. Nuova Rade has designed this switch to work only when it detects water. If there are quantities of hydrocarbons, such as oil, it switches off the bilge pump, preventing pollution. Mounted vertically on the hull, the E.E.L.S is in-line connected to bilge pump(s) even of higher potency. The compact design also offers much greater freedom of movement. On the other hand, the minimal space it occupies in inboard vessels leaves more cargo space and hatch space intact. Other notable features include insulated electrical contacts, housing made of durable nylon and ABS plastic, 100% impervious to water.

Technical properties:

The electronic level switch can be used with any bilge pump up to 20A. The electronic level switch has the following electrical characteristics:

Connect a switch for activating the automatic operation of the bilge pump in-line to the plus pole of the battery. You should also connect an in-line fuse depending on the current rating of the bilge pump and up to 20A max (see manufacturer's instructions). The wires of the electronic level switch connected to the terminals of the battery are RED (+) and BLACK (-). The other pair of wires, BLACK (-) and BLUE (+), are connected to the negative and positive poles of the bilge pump, respectively.
