GRIPPY ANCHOR BUOY
The GRIPPY15 anchor buoy has an automatically retractable 15mtr neckline
A neural line is attached to the head of the anchor to clear the anchor if it is stuck under a rock or cable. The problem is that when anchored in different depths, you don't want to use a (too) long nosed line because it could get tangled in the rudder or propeller.
Moreover, the position of the anchor is not indicated accurately.
The Grippy has a handy solution to this by automatically coiling the neural line to the water depth and keeping the Grippy floating right above the anchor.
This also marks the position of the anchor. The Grippy has a dyneema neckline with a 600kg tensile strength .
