TEAK WONDER® CLEANER

Cleaning teak is often tackled with aggressive methods such as intensive sanding or the use of powders and highly caustic cleaners. These drastic solutions can permanently damage the teak surface and significantly shorten its lifespan.

TEAK WONDER® CLEANER is a powerful yet mild teak cleaner that removes dirt and grey oxidation quickly and effortlessly - without scuffing. The formula is non-caustic and non-aggressive and does not attack rubber seals, paint, fibreglass, aluminium or deck fittings when used correctly.

Within minutes, greying and embedded dirt are effectively removed and teak regains its natural appearance.

User manual

Wet the teak thoroughly with clean (fresh) water.

Apply TEAK WONDER® CLEANER evenly and generously to the wet surface.

Brush with a soft brush, in the direction of the wood grain or across the grain, without applying too much pressure (to avoid damaging the teak fibres).

Do not let the product dry.

Add small amounts of water if necessary.

Rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water.

Highly soiled or heavily oxidised surfaces may require a second treatment before you start brightening.

For a lighter and fresher teak colour, apply TEAK WONDER® BRIGHTENER according to the instructions while the teak is still wet (or rewet it).

⚠ Carefully rinse away any residue from non-teak surfaces.
⚠ Do not mix TEAK WONDER® CLEANER and BRIGHTENER.

Although the product does not attack most marine paints, varnishes, fibreglass and aluminium alloys, we recommend avoiding contact with these surfaces as much as possible due to possible differences in composition.

Consumption

Approximately 6-8 m² per litre, depending on the condition and porosity of the wood.
