TEAK WONDER® CLEANER

Cleaning teak is often a challenge and is sometimes tackled with drastic methods such as sanding or using powders and highly caustic cleaners. These methods can seriously damage the teak surface.

TEAK WONDER® CLEANER is a powerful but gentle cleaner that cleans teak thoroughly with little effort, without sanding. The product is not caustic or aggressive and does not attack rubber seals, paint or fittings. Grey oxidation and dirt are removed within minutes.

Cleaning process

1. Wet the teak surface thoroughly with clean water.

2. Bring TEAK WONDER® CLEANER evenly and generously.

3. Brush the teak with a soft brush in the direction of the wood grain.

   • Do not let the product dry.

   • Add small amounts of water if necessary.

4. Rinse the foaming mixture thoroughly with plenty of clean water.

5. For heavily soiled surfaces or teak left uncleaned for long periods, a second treatment may be required before the wood is brightened with TEAK WONDER® BRIGHTENER.

6. For a lighter and fresher teak colour: apply TEAK WONDER® BRIGHTENER on as indicated while the teak is still wet or after re-wetting.

⚠ Carefully rinse away any residue from non-teak surfaces.

Consumption

About 6-8 m² per litre, depending on the state of the wood.

Note: TEAK WONDER® CLEANER does not attack most marine paints, varnishes, fibreglass or aluminium alloys. Due to the variation in formulas of paints, varnishes, etc., contact with these surfaces is not recommended to avoid possible damage.
